The Silent Steps is the final overworld Beacon of the Ruins of Mammon in Mortal Shell II — and the front door to the Sariel boss line that yields a Shell, the Clockwork Scythe and the Caged Hystrix in one trip.

The Silent Steps is where the Ruins of Mammon's overworld ends — and where one of the game's best reward lines begins. The Beacon sits at the region's far edge, a stone's throw from the platform where Sariel, the Endless waits.

How to reach it

  1. Start at the Vestige of Infinity Beacon — the region's previous checkpoint.
  2. Run the road to the Seat of Infinity junction, and take the right-hand path at the bone-field.
  3. Cleanse The Silent Steps Beacon at the route's end.

What it stages

This Beacon is the rest point for the Sariel boss line: the first fight on the stone platform south-east, the chase into the Chamber of Becoming, and the grave-marker finale that yields the Sariel Shell, the Clockwork Scythe and the Caged Hystrix. It also anchors the roads to the Forgotten Tower, where the Axatana waits — making this single checkpoint the most weapon-dense rest point in the region.
