The route

  1. Travel back to the Widow's Overlook Beacon and set out for Blackridge Pass to the north.
  2. Cleanse the Blackridge Pass Beacon inside its building.
  3. With the Beacon lit, follow the route to collect Fainweald Map Fragment 3 — it hangs on the natural path a short walk away.
  4. Return to the Beacon spawn point, turn your view, and cross the bridge in the direction shown to link this checkpoint into the wider road network.

What this checkpoint unlocks

Blackridge Pass is the staging point for the cliff-side layer of Fainweald: the road down into the Flooded Village dungeon, the Synaptic Vessel guarded by its pit boss, and the eventual route around to Gloomshade Grove. Every one of those trips starts cheaper with this Beacon cleansed.
