Mortal Shell II — Forgotten Crossbow Location (Flooded Village, Damp Key)

The Forgotten Crossbow turns Mortal Shell II's ranged slot into a sniper's tool. Its range is enormous, headshots pay handsomely, and a few bolts are enough to collapse a normal enemy's posture into a free execution.

How to get it

1. Fast travel to the Blackridge Pass Beacon and head north-west.
2. Pass under the stone arch to enter the building, which leads into the Flooded Village dungeon.
3. Ride the second elevator down and work through the sunken village to its lower section.
4. Behind you on the left, check the crates beside one of the houses — the Damp Key rests on them.
5. Use the Damp Key on the building at the center of the village. The Forgotten Crossbow is waiting on the table inside.

What it plays like

• Opening-pick specialist. Its reach lets you start fights before the enemy knows the fight has started — chip posture from safety, then close for the execution.
• Headshot lottery. Precision hits deal bonus damage, making the crossbow surprisingly lethal against elite-sized health bars when you take your time aiming.
• Posture workhorse. A handful of bolts is enough to stagger normal enemies outright, and it softens elite stance bars before you ever swing a melee weapon.

Ammo is plentiful enough that you can lean on it, but resolve-hungry players should still treat each shot as a decision, not a spray.
