Not every Revered Gland hides in a shrine. One of them is sitting in a shop inventory in Marrow Keep, waiting for anyone with the coins — which makes it the most reliable healing upgrade in Mortal Shell II.
How to reach the merchant
- From the Marrow Keep Beacon, take the stairs on the left and walk along until you spot the Gloom Siphon device.
- Turn right at the Gloom Siphon — the merchant's stall is right there.
- Browse his wares and buy the Revered Gland. It appears alongside other consumables; if you are coin-rich after early exploring, this is the first purchase worth making.
Why buy this one first
Healing charges compound: every additional flask use pays off in every single fight for the rest of the run, while weapon upgrades mostly help one build at a time. Coins, meanwhile, can be farmed — so the gland's price is really just a small detour.
