Mortal Shell II — Unwieldly Stone: Charged Heavies with Kill-Time Healing
Published 2026-09-173 min read
The Unwieldly Stone powers a 35-Resolve charged heavy attack in Mortal Shell II and grants lifesteal stacks for every kill — up to five. Buy it from Merrick in Marrow Keep for 2,000 coins. Details and build advice inside.
The Unwieldly Stone is the survival Tarstone: a charged heavy attack powered by Resolve, plus lifesteal stacks that accumulate with every kill. For heavy-weapon builds that live in the thick of packs, it converts aggression directly into health.

How to buy it
- Head to Marrow Keep and speak with the merchant Merrick.
- Open the Tarstones tab of his shop menu.
- Select the Unwieldly Stone and pay 2,000 coins with a long-press confirm.
What it does
- Activation: spend 35 Resolve on a charged heavy attack.
- On kills: gain Leech stacks — up to five — each restoring health, massively extending your endurance in pack-heavy areas.
- Upgrades raise the stacks earned per kill, so the snowball gets fatter as you invest.
Who it is for
Pair it with big, slow, crowd-clearing weapons — the Obsidian Hammer or the Great Martyr's Blade — where every charged swing threatens a posture break and every group is a full heal waiting to happen. Greedy front-line play stops being a mistake and becomes your regen rotation.
