Like Tiel before it, Proxima, the Broodseeker is a claim-it-yourself Shell: the body rests inside the very building that houses the Blackridge Pass Beacon, and claiming it requires nothing sharper than the interact button.
How to claim it
- Fast travel to the Blackridge Pass Beacon in the Fainweald region.
- Step inside the building that contains the Beacon. You will not have to fight anything on the way in.
- Interact with the Shell resting inside, choose yes when the game asks you to take control of an unknown Shell, and watch the brief scene. Proxima is now yours.
Because the Beacon and the Shell share a room, this is the natural first stop of any Shell sweep: cleanse the Beacon, claim the body, and fast travel out without a single swing thrown.
Why bother with Proxima
Proxima is one of the eight collectible Shells, and Shells are more than costumes — each carries its own health, stamina and a signature ability that changes how you approach fights. Grabbing the two free ones early (Tiel and Proxima) gives you options before you commit to the boss-gated bodies like Eredrim, the Venerable or the ritual-bound Smert, the Apostate.
