Mortal Shell II — Cursed Child Location (Revered Beacon Dungeon)

The Cursed Child is Mortal Shell II's summon sidearm: a wandering spirit that hunts enemies down on its own. Claim it in the Revered Beacon dungeon after shattering three statues and its mini-boss — route and survival tips inside.
The Cursed Child is the saddest weapon in Mortal Shell II — a spirit stranded between life and death that aches to be held, and defends whoever carries it with terrifying devotion. As a sidearm it summons a wandering ghost that tracks and attacks enemies on its own.

The route in
- Fast travel to the monastery gate Beacon and take the stairs to the north-west, toward the rolling-ball enemy's path.
- Cross to the western platform and drop down to the lower ledge marked by the bone gate.
- Head north past the hammer-wielding enemy. The entrance to the Revered Beacon dungeon is on your right.
- Dodge the golden beam. Inside, the central tower fires a tracking beam that chases you and keeps damaging you until you break line of sight behind a wall. It locks onto enemies too — bait them into it when you can.
- Circle the area counterclockwise, climb to the tower, and attack the central pillar to shut the beam off.
- Shatter the three statues and defeat the mini-boss at the end. The Cursed Child is your reward.
What it plays like
- Fire and forget. The summoned spirit seeks targets on its own, adding damage while you focus on dodging — a genuine second combatant.
- Narrow rooms are the danger. The dungeon on the way in is cramped and full of ghost-type enemies; getting surrounded there is the main way this trip goes wrong.
- Pairs with defensive builds. While the Child harasses, you harden, block and punish — pressure without exposure.
